About Our Logo

The 3 spheres of our logo represent a trilogy. Firstly, they represent the family unit; Mother, Father & Child(ren). Taking this a little further, they also represent the 3 different aspects/stressors related to health – physical, chemical and emotional/spiritual. In order for us to be truly healthy, we require our mind and body to be working in harmony and balance in how we eat, move and think.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

The philosophy of chiropractic is based upon the fact that the human body is
self-regulating and self-healing. For true health, it’s best to supply the mind
and body with the essential ingredients it requires in pure and sufficient
amounts, and avoid things that create deficiencies and toxicities. Ensuring
that the nervous system is functioning at its optimum (i.e.: free from
subluxation) is a key element in making sure that this can occur.

We actively encourage patients to get adjusted regularly to correct subluxation
and to take personal responsibility for their health by regularly assessing how
well they are choosing to eat, move and think. Regular assessment and
improvement in these areas continually moves us towards better heath and
improves our lives and the lives of those around us.

Attendance at the workshops explores these concepts and the science
behind them further.

Our Techniques

We use a variety of chiropractic techniques to identify and correct subluxation,
all of which are safe, gentle and applied using low force:

Activator Methods
Applied Kinesiology
Gentle manual adjustments (Diversified)
Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.)
Webster Technique

Craniosacral Techniques
Chiropractic Ecology
Basic Sacro Occipital Technique (S.O.T.)

To find out more about some of these techniques please refer to the
Links’ page.

Our Workshops

Workshops

Gaining knowledge along with regular re-assessment and improvement in how we choose to eat, move and think are the keys to taking personal responsibility for and improving our health.

Drawing on an amazing and ever growing body of knowledge from Dr. James Chestnut B.Ed., MSc., D.C., C.C.W.P. in particular, Bruce Lipton Ph.D., David Suzuki, Dr. Joe Dispenza D.C., Jill Bolte Taylor Ph.D., Dr. Masaru Emoto (to name just a few), the workshops are designed as a structured 4 part series.
We strongly recommend that our patients (and their friends) attend to gain information that will help them get the most out of their chiropractic care, and most importantly, restore their health.

Living In Harmony

This workshop sets up the other 3. It is imperative for anyone who wants to move towards true health. Understanding the body’s stress response as it tries to adapt to the environment in which we live is an important step towards making the right choices every day in our personal journey towards health. In order to be truly healthy, our body must be functioning optimally, free from the stressors that produce toxicity and deficiency, whilst receiving the required nutrients in sufficient and pure amounts. This goes for what we eat and breathe, the way we move and rest, and the way we think and handle the pressures of day to day life.

Eating In Harmony

Humans have become the world’s sickest animal species. We are the only species on earth that has created an unnatural living environment for ourselves. We live, eat and drink in ways that are completely incongruent for the requirements of our cells and our genes. We must provide our cells with sufficient and pure amount of the natural resources they require for proper function, and avoid the things that make them toxic and deficient. This workshop will deliver the simple truth about what our bodies require for nutritional and chemical health.

Moving In Harmony

Exercise, movement, correct posture, optimal spinal function and sufficient
rest are essential nutrients required for health. Our genes and cells require these things in order to produce healthy physiology and biochemistry. Without them we are literally deficient and sick – they are neither optional nor therapeutic!
This workshop explores the importance of movement in our daily lives, and gives you practical action steps that you can add straight away.

Thinking In Harmony

Thinking in harmony is not about reducing stress; it is about creating the homeostatic state of relaxation for healing and growth at all levels of mind, body and spirit. Creating health results from creating healthy values, beliefs, and emotions that result in healthy lifestyle choices. This workshop aims to give you the tools essential for making long lasting positive improvements in your life.

The Right Tools

Enhancing the benefits of chiropractic care will require additional tools of the
trade. These enable you to make better choices about your health and to create

a healthier long term environment for yourself, giving support to your chiropractic
adjustments.

We have available at our clinic:

Nutrition: Including Multi Vitamins, Fish Oils, Probiotics and a Children’s range
of these as well. These are a great addition to start moving towards sufficiency
and purity from a nutritional and health point of view. Other nutrition products
are available.

Movement: To enhance movement, posture, balance, stretching and core
muscle stability, items such as fit balls, wobble boards and posture poles are
wonderful tools to have as you build up your levels of fitness and stability. We
can show you through how to use these and check to make sure your fit ball is
the right height.

Foot Levelers: These are a custom made support for your feet. They provide
support for all 3 arches in your feet whilst allowing the foot to function correctly
as you stand and walk. Foot Levelers also help to restore wonderful feedback
information from the joints in your feet to your brain. Coupled with gentle
adjusting of the feet, Foot Levelers help to provide a stable and supported
foundation for the ankles, knees, hips, pelvis and spine. A comprehensive
assessment and report are undertaken to determine the best match as far as
type of leveler for your most frequently worn footwear and the types of activities
you regularly participate in.

Pillows: We have various densities of contoured pillows that will provide
support for your neck and shoulders for a good night sleep.
